How to best use adhesive for balloons.

Let's talk adhesive! Now our industry has many ways to attach items to our displays, are you using the correct product for your displays?

As an industry we add many accessories to our displays, therefore, we need to make sure we are using the best products for the job. So here is a few product examples and what they do and why we use them.

Balloon Bond

Balloon Bond is ideal for connecting balloons that naturally touch along long areas – foil to foil, latex to latex, and even latex to foil. Perfect for attaching foil balloons together at the seams to create waves, geometric balls, arrows and arches. Put your imagination to work and see what shapes you can come up with using Balloon Bond.

● For best adhesion, gently remove the coloured ink from the surface of each foil balloon by rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover with a Q-tip, then wipe the surface dry before applying the tape. Take care not to remove the silver covering under the ink.

● Tape is sticky in seconds and bonds in minutes (can’t be repositioned)

● Avoid touching adhesive with fingers

Stretchy Balloon Tape

Stretchy Balloon Tape is a one side adhesive with a S-T-R-T-C-H-Y liner. This is great for a permanent adhesive for your displays .

● Cut a Q-TIP in half

● Lay the 260Q on the foil uninflated

● Cut of an amount of stretchy tape and place over the 260Q

● Pull the 260Q of the stretchy tape and tie allowing you to pull the 260Q into your display

This product is so strong and is great for adding foils securely to your display. After you have attached the Q-tip (260) you can pull it into your display. We also use these on foils to make a new attachment point if the valve or tag is not in the correct place.

Uglu Dashes

Using Uglu Dashes you don’t have to worry about a sticky mess, it’s the ideal product for attaching any balloon related product to your displays. Each dash measures approx; 13mm x 16mm and supplied in individual packs each containing 160 dashes. The dashes are acid free and non toxic. This product is used so versatile and can be used on all most anything in your displays.

Glue Dots

These small adhesive universal glue dots are great for floral arrangements and arts and crafts. These come in a roll of a 1000 x 1 cm glue dots. Just place on the area and connect the product. This is perfect for attaching ribbon along with other craft items.

Hot Glue Gun

Our glue guns are trigger feed which gives you an even flow. This can be used with low melt glue sticks which are cooler and easier to work with. Perfect for attaching ribbon to hat boxes or hard surface.
